Screed Application in Epoxy Flooring: All You Need to Know

Updated : 10 hours ago

RachTR Screed Application in Epoxy Flooring

Epoxy screed is a high-strength resin-and-aggregate layer that repairs and levels concrete before an epoxy floor coating goes on. A sound base decides how long your epoxy flooring lasts.

How is screed applied?

  1. Prepare: grind the slab and remove dust, oil and loose concrete.

  2. Prime: apply epoxy primer for adhesion.

  3. Screed: mix the components, spread and trowel to level.

  4. Cure, then finish with an epoxy top coat.

RachTR products for screeding

  • RachTR EP 91: a three-component self levelling screed which covers up maximum undulations. It is an economic version of screed specifically formulated for industrial applications where heavy traffic movement is expected.
