Epoxy Flooring

An Epoxy flooring is a type of synthetic resin floor system, in which especially formulated Epoxy coatings are laid on top of concrete substrates as a form of protection and decoration layer. It transforms a plain concrete slab into a smooth, finished surface that can have customized properties, as per requirement, like -

• Chemical Resistance including Acid Resistant or Solvent Resistance
• Oil resistance
• Moisture Resistance
• Anti Skid or Non-Slip Property
• Anti Static Property
• Electro static Discharge (ESD) Flooring

Cost is generally given in Rs/ Sq ft or Rs. Sq meter.

Cost is dependent on no. of factors. Like -

• Surface on which it is being done - - if it is Plain concrete floor(pcc), or RCC, or Old Epoxy floor,
• Undulations in the surface,
• Properties required from Epoxy flooring,
• Type of Surface preparation Required
• Area or size of the floor size

And cost has three component -

• Material or epoxy coatings cost,
• Application charges or labor cost,
• Surface preparation or treatment cost
